Mazen Mindful Mamas: Meditation and Mindfulness Groups for Motherhood

These restorative groups focus on breath work, gentle movements, art journaling, and meditations on motherhood to support the body and mind.

Mindfulness is when we are fully present in the moment, aware of what we are experiencing, seeing, or feeling. Meditation is a journey of discovery and learning.

Take an hour to meditate and connect with ways to increase kindness towards yourself, acceptance of where you are at on your journey of motherhood, and provide yourself with an opportunity to nurture growth and well being.


Child and Adolescent Art Therapy

Individual art therapy and counseling sessions for children and adolescents.

Sometimes expressing ourselves requires more than words. Children naturally express themselves through play and art. Adolescents often experience difficulty sharing and expressing their experiences.

Art Therapy is based on the belief that the creative process involved in artistic self-expression helps people to: Identify, explore, and express emotions, resolve conflicts and problems, reduce stress, increase self-esteem and self-awareness, and achieve insight.


Women’s Wellness Sessions

Individual wellness sessions offer an opportunity to explore your emotions and questions in a safe, supportive and nurturing space. 

Explore and grow through difficult moments in your life.  

Learn ways to manage stress, fatigue, feeling overwhelmed, and anxiety. 

Find connection so that you don't feel alone. Take time for yourself to find moments of support.

New Mom Support Groups

Gather with a group of moms to discuss the ups and downs of your week and restore your energy for the week ahead.

Groups will focus on the wellness of both mom and baby care. The groups will change from week to week based on the needs of the participants. You can expect a combination of presentations on skills for new mothers, support for emotional well-being, mindful meditation, gentle yoga postures, and group discussions.

The New Mom Support Group creates a safe and relaxed space for you to explore all of the challenges and joys of motherhood. Babies are welcome during these sessions!


New Mom Support Sessions

Motherhood is both beautiful and challenging. 

Individual New Mother Support Sessions allow for new moms to share their experiences and questions in a safe and supportive space.

During the early weeks after baby is born, the New Mom Support Sessions will offer support and guidance to help you manage the challenges of being a new parent.


Pregnancy Sessions

There are so many changes and transitions during the journey of motherhood. 

Learn about each of the stages of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

Before Baby is born, Individual Pregnancy sessions will help you to prepare for changes and challenges of being a new mother. 


Motherhood Sessions

After baby is born, and as they grow, find support during your journey of motherhood. 

In these individual sessions, we will explore your emotions, expectations, and challenges as related to your needs and your child's needs.

Learn what style of parenting works for you and your child.


Women’s Wellness Workshops

Women’s Wellness Group Workshops are a way to connect with Megan to explore themes of meditation, art making, yoga, and self care. They also offer a connection with other women in the community.

Megan’s experience as a registered art therapist and licensed professional counselor combine together with her yoga teacher studies to provide the foundation of these therapeutic workshops.
